Skjóta is an opera that lasts as long as a football match, performed in Ásmundarsalur together with an installation. The project evolves around football and climate change and how a football half-time can be a metaphor for the time of climate decision-making.

Welcome to an exhibition opening on Friday 26 January at 20h00 in Hafnarhús.

Vitamin D is an extra dose of creative energy from the contemporary art scene here in Iceland. This exhibition gathers a selection of emerging artists and their new and recent works in the spirit of Reykjavík Art Museum‘s annual exhibition series in D-Gallery. Following the recent occasion of the 50th exhibition in the series, we depart from the usual routine, with works extending beyond the walls of D-Gallery and spreading across the upper part of Hafnarhús.

Vera Matsdóttir is a performer in video art work by Sigrún Gyða Sveinsdóttir.

Special guest performer: Miguel Ongay, clarinetist.

The recital is the final milestone towards receiving a master degree in classical music, vocal studies from Royal Conservatoire The Hague.
